Project garage fixer upping The foundation has been strengthened. Thanks Branden for your hard work. The wall straightened. Thank you Kerry for the loan of your come along, custom made bracket and instructions. And a new door. Thank you Elizabeth and Polk for the screen door, I had a storm insert that fit and was a similar color, amazing. I added the door as best as I could, a new experience, different than cutting into a knitted garment to reknit a sleeve cuff. I then added a window that hinges out on the garden side. I hung a sturdy work bench surface under the window attached to the wall. What a lovely view and good light now. I've got to organize a lot of "stuff inside" and wow! It's awesome after a lot of hard work and lessons learned. Still I have the siding to replace and door to frame then I can imagine beautiful flowers and a garden path. Garden tools hung, and sundry reclaimed materials at hand for more 610 projects. Hint hint: a shed roof off the back to shelter a collection of kayaks and solo canoes, come paddle. The River Raisin is close. This is how it looks today, I hung second window just to "see" but decided to leave it at one window and add shelving above work bench on inside. Garden hand and foot tools hang just inside door to right. I'd love to show you the next phase and the work bench another post.
